Pelagic Capital Advisors LP was founded in 2007 as a private investment firm.  Pelagic Capital Advisors LP focuses on natural resource investments.  Pelagic provides strategic advisory alongside its investment in each of its portfolio companies.  Pelagic employs a wide range of investment styles, and is creative in the structuring of its involvement with each of its companies.

All investment decisions are made based upon a fundamental understanding of the technical merits of each project, and the ability to either expand a resource through further exploration or develop, extract and transport the underlying commodity to market.  We often take direct management roles or board level positions in each of our investments.  Pelagic maintains a global network of financing partners that work alongside our natural resource experts from early stage exploration into full scale project development.
